It's 105 degrees outside with a heat index of 115 so I'm hanging out inside : ) . It's Sunday morning and I'm gonna be getting ready to head to church here soon so I'll keep this kinda short. I ran up on something the other day that I thought was really interesting. I was reading something about folks getting to caught up in thier yesterdays and tomorrows and forgetting about the joy of today. There is a phrase called "Nunc Coepi" which means Now I begin. This was a saying that some monks used to say in monestaries each morning to remind themselves that all that you have is today and this moment to live for. Yesterday is gone so learn from it and tomorrow is not promised to you. All you have is this moment that God has given you so live it to the best that you can do for his glory and he will shower blessings out upon your life in return.

Brighten Your Day

Hope you like this... It's been awhile since I have been able to drop in and post a note. I'm hoping my computer doesn't drop out due to the storm outside. Texas is a total wreck due to the rain we have been having. We have had 11 deaths in the last week due to flash floods. Sure am glad I have a boat. Parts of Texas has had 30+ inches of rain this year. Over by Marble Falls they had 15 inches in 24 hours!!!! That's totally insane. Somebody isn't livin right or something. Oh well like I said I'm glad I have a boat if worse comes to worse. Well that's all I have to say at the moment so I'm gonna go and work on some computers. I haven't posted in a few days so I figured I would drop in today and say something. Well it's already Thanksgiving once again and the first one that I have had to deal with since my mother died back at the first of the year. My mom's house was the central gathering place for the whole family and now that's not going to happen for the first time in my life. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I get the feeling that my family is drifting apart from each other and I don't know what to do about it. My wife's mom died last month and we are having to deal with that loss also. So the question that is on my mind is...How do you keep a family together when the one that has kept it together is gone. Me and my wife have decided to go visit her son and his in-laws for the holiday. I hope everything goes well. I truly give thanks to God for all the things he has given me in my life and I pray that he will continue to bless me and my family. I have to head to work now so may God bless each and every one of you that happen to visit my blog. It has been such a long and tiring week. I have been dealing with contractors all week that are building a 175 foot radio tower for me and so far they have not done anything right yet. These people are supposed to be professionals but they can't tell which way is east or west with a compass... : ( I tell them to point antennas this way or that and they get it wrong 3 or 4 times in a row. I have been just sooo frustrated on this job. I give them the parts to do the job and what happens they messed the whole thing up. I hate getting stuck in the middle between my boss and theirs. My boss says that it is my tower and to get it done but I have to keep going back through him to get things ok'd to get done. I hate to be a stickler for details but I think from now on I'm going to have to. I don't care if any one likes me or not including my boss. From now on if the contract says a hole has to be 24 inches deep and I measure it at 23 I'm going to make them do it over. They will either learn to do it right or they can pack up and go home. Well I just got a call to go help some one so I'll post again later. May God and Peace be with you all.

Saturday and I'm Alone

Well good evening folks. I hope all is well in your world. Well it's saturday night and I'm all alone because my wife is off in Chicago on a business trip. I am steadily praying that she is ok and will have a safe and happy trip. I haven't heard from her today so I'm a little down because I really miss her. I keep hoping that the phone will ring or that she will answer her cell phone but neither has happened yet. I just have to give it over to God and let him deal with it. I know that he will look out for her. I know me all to well I can worry even the smallest things to death. I have faith that all will be well. Praise be to God. The more I look at the weather the more I think I'm gonna have to ride my bike in the rain either tomorrow or monday. If my wife isn't back by tomorrow night I'm gonna have to ride my bike in the rain to get to work. uugghh That bites!! I don't own a slicker suit to ride in. I think I'm gonna get real wet. I'll just have to ride REAL slow so I don't have an accident. People in this town drive crazy in dry weather much less rainy weather. People just don't see motorcycles. It's like we have an invisible shield up around us when we ride down the road. Oh well I'm getting tired again so I'm gonna go lay down. I'll post again soon. May God and Peace be with you all.

Mid Week

Good morning folks. Well it's the middle of the week and I'm already tired. Oh well that's the way it goes sometimes. I have added a couple of banners to my page this morning that concern Identity Theft which is the fastest growing crime in America. In the last year alone over 60 million peoples information was lost to thieves and that's something serious. There is more to Identity Theft than just your credit cards. These thieves can steal your financial, medical, social security, identity and other areas that can ruin your life. Credit card theft is just a small part of the problem. I personally know of several people that have had their Identity stolen. One person had her personal identity stolen when a criminal was arrested and gave her information to the police instead of the criminal's identity. That woman was a school teacher and now has a criminal history as a crack addict and a prostitute. She has to carry a piece of paper that the police gave her to show that she isn't the criminal in case she gets pulled over by the police. With out that paper she could get taken to jail until she can prove she isn't a criminal. Can you imagine the humiliation she deals with every day because of what happened to her. Can you imagine how it feels like when she goes to a job interview for a new teaching job and her back ground check comes up with a criminal history like that. Another person I know was out to dinner with his wife and gave his credit card to waitress to pay for the meal and a month or so later came to find out that his credit card info had been taken and that waitress was buying things online with it. The police said there was nothing they could do but file a report on it and have the card canceled. Another person went to check on his social security info and found that he was listed as an alias to his own social security number. His identity had been taken over by an illegal alien. Well I hope you get the picture and check out the banners and read the info listed there. I have to leave for work now. May God and Peace be with you all.

God works

Good morning folks. I haven't posted in a few days because I've been busy with life in general. Our church had a BBQ last night to show support of our pastor during pastor appreciation day. It went over really good with about 50 people showing up to fellowship together and enjoy a peaceful day. I had been there for a few hours when I suddenly got the feeling that I needed to leave so I told everybody good night and got on my Harley and headed home. I hate driving at night on my bike because of the bugs and I have a hard time seeing at night. Well as I was driving home I came around a corner and I saw a couple of cars on the side of the road and as I got near them a woman came running out in the road waving her hands and screaming for me to stop so I pulled over. I suddenly noticed that a man was on his knees screaming with his hand caught between the car and a tire he had been trying to put on the car when the jack slipped out and pinned him and crushed his hand. I ran over to them and got the jack and worked as fast as I could to get the car jacked up and free him. It took a couple of minutes to do this the whole time this guy was pleading with me to hurry up and get him free. I finally managed to get the car off of his hand and he collapsed on the ground holding his arm. I could tell right away that at least three fingers were crushed and he needed medical attention. I told him it was a good thing that I left the church event when I did and he admitted that God did work in mysterious ways even though he was an unbeliever. I finished mounting the tire on the car for him and the girl with him and I wished them good luck and they drove away. When I got home I sat down and prayed for them and I hope that the lord will lead them to him. I told them where I went to church and where it was at so maybe God will lead them to come visit us and hear the word of God and get saved. God does really work in our lives everyday if we just listen to him. Well I have to head to work now so May God and Peace be with you all.

Sunday

Good evening folks. Well it's another day down and I'm still alive and kicking. It has been such a long long week. I'm just sitting around waiting to go to this evenings fellowship and bible study. We missed last weeks study but we do plan on making today's. I look forward to each Sunday evening so we can spend some time with a few friends and study the word of God. It is very important for people to attend smaller fellowships like these so they can get to know others in their church more closely. It is hard to get to know people very well when you have over 400 members attending your church, so small groups having bible study is really important to the spiritual growth and well being of a church. Our church has about 6 groups that regularly meet each week. These groups are spaced out around our town and local area so that people can find a convenient one to go to close to where they live. The one me and my wife go to is across town but that's ok we enjoy going there all the same. We really like the people that fellowship there. We usually start off with sitting around and talking and then we give thanks and break bread and have a meal together and then we start the bible study after that. It is a good time spent with God and our friends. Oh well I need to go so I'll post again later. May God and Peace be with you all.

Grief and relationships

Good morning folks. Well it's Sunday and raining around here and I feel totally depressed. We had a death in the family last night and I find myself in a place where grief is hitting me hard. My mom died not long ago and I have had a hard time letting the grief work it self out. I seemed to have locked it all up inside of me and every time it tries to let loose something in me clamps down won't let it be released. I sometimes feel like a time bomb waiting to go off. I know I have to let it go and I know it will some day but I'm afraid it will overwhelm me at the wrong time. I don't do death very well. I don't go view people before the burial. I would rather remember them as they were when they were alive with happy memories. Life is so short. Everyday that you waste doing things that are not really important is a day lost forever. People should get the priorities in life straight and not waste time on senseless activities. Live life like today is the last day of your life...It just might be. Tomorrow is never promised to us. What is that old saying..Live today like there is no tomorrow...Love like you've never been hurt...And dance like nobody's watching. My priorities in life are:
God
Family
Friends
in that order.
I don't waste my time on people who try to make my life sad or difficult. Don't let people like that waste your precious time. Life is way to short to let things make you sad, angry, depressed, lonely, frustrated or unhappy. If you find your self in a situation like that change it. You have the power to make those changes. God gave you that power and through him all things are possible. If your job makes you miserable get another one. Get a job doing something that does make you happy. If a relationship is doing the same thing get out of it. There are to many people out there that are looking for the same thing you are..Someone to make them happy and love them unconditionally. True love is unconditional. Any one that tells you I will love you IF you do this or that doesn't love you. Love is a two way thing. Each person has to do their part. It can't be always one person giving and the other always taking. If people are in a relationship and say they love each other but they are always fighting there is something wrong! I have been with my wife for 6 years now and we haven't had a single argument or fight. We never raise our voices at each other and if one of us makes the other angry or mad we bring it up and talk it out like adults instead of fighting like children. We have both had a long history of bad relationships with people that were abusers and it was God that brought us together and I thank him each and every day for it. Life is way to short to have to be in a relationship with abusive people. If any of you are in that place today my advice is GET OUT OF IT!! Do what ever it takes to leave even if that means packing your bags and walking out during the day or night. Just trust in God that he will take care of you. God loves you and only wants the best for you. Trust in him to give you the best. There is some one out there that will love you with out being abusive to you or your children if you have any. Abusive people never get better I have learned that the hard way. They always promise you that they will change their ways but don't believe it. Last thing for today. Don't let others cause you grief in your life by manipulation or abuse it's not worth it. Remember God loves you and is always there for you. May God and Peace be with you all.

Saturday Rant

Good morning folks. Well it's saturday morning and all is well. I actually don't have much ranting to do today because I feel pretty good about life today. I have a guy coming over to talk to me about doing some trading on some harley parts for my bike. I have a stock sporster seat and semi-drag bars that he wants and he has a set of crash bars that I want so... Let's make a Deal!! I don't know very many people in my town that ride so I'm kinda happy that this is happening. I am slowly but surely getting my bike put together and I will post a pic of her soon. By the way my bike's name is Pearl because she is pearl white and I kinda like the name. I heard the other day that my brother bought an old Ironhead harley and an old Triumph to work on. My brother needs both of them like he needs a hole in the head. He has a really bad back and the last thing he needs is to go riding around on a Harley. He sold his Yamaha Viago 1100 to buy these other bikes. That yamaha was a really sweet bike. Ok enough of that let me go and look for something to rant about... Ok here is something it's about the border fence they passed the other day:
No sooner did Congress authorize construction of a 700-mile fence on the U.S.-Mexico border last week than lawmakers rushed to approve separate legislation that ensures it will never be built, at least not as advertised, according to Republican lawmakers.
Is this not rediculous? We as tax payers are funding this mad house. I'm not a Democrat or a Republican but I think it's time for a change in washington. I beleive people shouldn't vote along party lines only. People should vote on a politicians track record and what that person has done good for America and it's people. As I have said before and I'll say it again... WE HAVE THE BEST GOVERNMENT MONEY CAN BUY!!! Here is a link to where you can check up on your senators and how they vote on things Senate Info
Here is a link to Congress to check up on them Congress Info

Well that's enough for this morning so I'm outa here. May God and Peace be with you all.

Amerikkka.net: Losing a War, Winning a Police State

Here is an interesting link to a post I found while surfing blog sites.

Amerikkka.net: Losing a War, Winning a Police State

Global

Well good evening folks. I have a question...Do you beleive that global warming exists?

Here is what a couple of politicians have to say about it.

Shortly after taking office, President Bush rejected the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, which requires 36 industrial nations to cut global warming gases by 2012 by an average 5 percent below 1990 levels.

He argued that cutting the U.S. share to below 6 billion tons a year, as the treaty would have required, would have cost 5 million U.S. jobs.

The Senate Environment chairman, Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., likens concerns about the Earth warming to Chicken Little saying the sky is falling.

“Global warming is an alarmism. It’s a type of a hoax,” said Inhofe. “The reality is that a cap on carbon is a cap on the economy, through the rationing of energy.”

Do you think these two people will ever see the light of day?

Oh well I'm out of here. But the independent advisory panel said the incident released nearly 459 times more radiation than a similar one at Pennsylvania’s Three Mile Island in 1979.

The 4.5-square-mile site about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles was used for nuclear research for four decades beginning in the 1940s. Rocket engines also were tested there.

A Rocketdyne spokesman said the company, now known as Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, no longer owns the lab site and referred questions to the current owner, Boeing Co.

Blythe Jameson, spokeswoman for Boeing, disputed that there was a threat, calling the site safe.

The Energy Department, Boeing and the state have been involved in efforts to decontaminate the site. The state has estimated that more than 1.73 million gallons of toxic trichloroethylene was dumped on the grounds and that 500,000 gallons have saturated the bedrock beneath the lab.

The panel concluded local soil and groundwater also may have been contaminated. The rocket fuel additive perchlorate has been found in a well, but Boeing has disputed assertions it came from the lab. Long-term exposure to high levels of perchlorate can cause thyroid problems.

Boeing, however, agreed last year to pay $30 million to settle a lawsuit alleging that pollutants from the site caused nearby residents to get cancer.

SSI Costs

Here is a counter showing the costs for the SS program compared to the national debt.

Which One Has the Crisis ?!

Tired Again

Good morning folks. Well it's 6am and I'm already tired : ( I sure hope the doctors can figure out what's wrong with me soon this is getting really old. I hate to feel tired all the time. I've lost 45lbs in the last couple of months for no apparent reason and it's starting to really bother me. I know it has my wife scared too. I've gone from 220lbs down to 175lbs and I'm still dropping. I just have to keep reminding myself that no matter what the problem is, God is with me and will give me the strength I need to get through it. When ever I get to tired or weak I just start to talk to or pray to God and I feel better right away. I work on keeping a worship song in my head at all times which cheers me up a lot. I learned something the other day about material wealth....if you own a car and a tv and have a roof over your head you are listed in the top 5 percent of the richest people in the world. Is that a scary idea! Have people allowed our beautiful planet to get so bad. Just think what we could do if everybody in that 5 percent gave a dollar and took nothing out for (Administrative fees)and put it towards the problems of the world. A lot of the problems in this world could be fixed. That is if we got rid of the politicians and other people that steal in the name of the people. If you've been here to my blog before you might have read the post about JFK and what he said about solving the worlds problems. We as a people have the ability to eliminate ALL hunger, poverty and homelessness. We could cure most every disease known to man if we put all the money spent on war and killing and put it towards research. What a beautiful world it would be. Politicians always have excuses for doing the evil things they do and people let them get away with it because they have folks trained that way just like pet monkeys. You either vote republican or democrat whoopee. Question: What's worse than a one party system of government?
Answer: A two party system!! The truth is with a two party system what happens when both sides are wrong or have become basically evil like is the case in America today. Don't get me wrong I LOVE AMERICA!! I just hate what politicians have done to it. They always have excuses for everything like war and poverty but, do you see them or their kids fighting in wars or do you see them taking a pay cut instead of giving themselves raises. NO There are a few exceptions to them though. A couple of them have fought in wars like Sen. McCain and the lady Senator that lost her legs in Iraq. I liked her reply when the republicans were talking about democrats cutting and running and she told them in no uncertain terms that SHE didn't cut and run and that she held the course in Iraq all the way up until her helicopter was shot down and she lost her legs. All I can say to a person like that is...YOU GO GIRL!!

Well here are a few excuses politicians have made about Iraq

Iraq

Well it's that time again so I'm off to work. I hope everybody has a wonderful day and may God bless each and every one of you. I'll post again later. Peace

God in America

Good morning folks. Well I've been adding logo's on my blog saying different things from Iraq war costs, Terrorist attacks, anti-political correctness, contacting political officials and how many days Bush has left in office which is at the bottom of the page. I personally believe it's a count down to the end of freedom in America but, that's just my opinion. I like logo's not just because they say something but, because they are a form of art unto themselves. I keep hearing here lately about these people who brag about being extreme right or extreme left or extreme center in their beliefs. I personally believe that being Extreme over anything other than God can be a bad thing. I am neither right or left or center. I look at myself as a totally God fearing, Freedom loving person that believes in peace and goodwill towards others. I guess you might place me in the scheme of things as an upsidedownist. Extreme people have by historical accounts caused most every war ever waged in the world. Why is it that most all wars have been fought over religious and political beliefs? I can understand political but why religious? Most every religion in the world promotes peace it is just those Extreme people that twist things around to make religion look the way they want it to. Any one who kills in the name of God is WRONG! God created everyone here on earth, what gives people the RIGHT to take that life away. War is a tool of EVIL and those that wage it in the name of God are EVIL. I constantly pray for peace but, I know it won't happen until Jesus comes back to rule when the world will be made new and peace and love will be the rule of the day. Can I have an AMEN!
Well I think I'll stop there because it is time to head to work. May God and Peace be with you.

Monday and the blues

Good morning folks. Well it's Monday again and I'm about to head out to work so I'm kinda fighting the blues a little. I have lots to do in the next few weeks and so little time to do it in. So I'm feeling the blues. I have no fear that I won't get things done I just am not looking forward to having to do it. Oh well life goes on. At least I have a job to go to and I thank God for that. I have been there 16 years now and I only have 7 years and so many months to go to retirement. WOOHOO!! I now that after I retire I will have to find a new job to support me and my wife but that's ok. I have invented something that should take care of that problem. I have invented a heater that works on 20 watts of power and puts out 1500 watts of heat. It works too I have the scars to prove it. : ) I'm just having a hard time with getting money together and wading through the patent process and the piles of paper work. When I get enough money I'm going to hire a patent attorney to do all that for me. The US patent process is so screwy it's not funny. Oh well I see it's time for work so I'm out of here. May God and Peace be with you all.

God and Spiritual Warfare

Good day folks. Well I've been sitting around the house since I got back from church thinking about the sermon for the day. We heard about spiritual warfare and the things we need to do to arm ourselves against it. I have noticed that since I gave my life over to God that I have been under intense attack by the enemy. As a matter of fact I just got off of the phone with a friend of mine that wanted me to get a hack for a program for him and I had to tell him I don't do that any more. Being a Christian is a 100% all the time deal. You can't just decide that today I'll be one and tomorrow I won't. Either your with God or your not. Either your going to do good or your going to do evil. It's as simple as that. If anyone tells you that life is going to be easy after giving your life to God They are lying. Christians are continually under attack by Satan. The world is against those that believe in God and try to live a good life. If anyone doesn't believe me just ask a preacher about Spiritual Warfare and how to deal with it. I also suggest that you read Ephesians 6: 10-17. Satan is the prince of lies and thrives on destruction and hate so keep on guard against him that he might not get a foot hold in your life. He is the most sneaky when he plants thoughts in your head and makes you think that they are ok. If something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't. Well I have to go now. May God and peace be with you all.

The World in Ruins

Good morning folks. I'm running kinda late so I'll be short this morning. I have a question and it is:

What is the Third Heaven?

OK so I sent out a few Emails to post a story in some newspapers around the country and this is what it said:

What a surprise it was to read today that the white house has again changed the Detainee Bill that was worked out last week with the holdouts in the Senate. This time though they have reworded the Bill to state that any person anywhere in the world and not only on a battlefield can be termed an enemy combatant and can be held indefinitely in secret detention prisons. This also includes United States Citizens! If the Government says you have helped any type of terrorists in any way you can be arrested and held indefinitely and tortured until you confess and then you will be tried by a military court and possibly given a death sentence on evidence that you are not allowed to see. Is it me our does this sound like something out of an Orwell novel? Is this 1984? Another point that was added is you can't take your case to any US courts until you have been tried, convicted and sentenced for an appeal. If no one can see the evidence against you including US judges how can you possibly win an appeal? What if, and this has happened already, the government grabs the wrong person? If you torture some one enough they will confess to anything. What safeguards have been put into place to protect the innocent? If the Supreme Court can't rule in these cases what chance does anyone have of proving their innocence? Does this Bill also include people suspected of Domestic Terrorism? You know the type of people on this list, the Sierra Club, political action groups and any others that don't agree with the white house policies. Everybody is all for attacking terrorists and keeping them from attacking the USA again but at what cost. Do we have to make America another police state to get the feeling of temporary safety. It wouldn't take one second for all of these laws to be turned against the citizens of the US. People should think about that. In the rush to be patriotic in the war on terror let us not forget the values that we have fought and died for and that is to keep this country FREE!

All I can say to the president is May God have Mercy on your Soul.
I continually pray for my country and hope that sanity will be returned to our government soon. Well I'm outa here so May God and Peace be with you all.

A Question: Liberty or Security

Good day folks. I was just looking around and found a statement by Benjamin Franklin that seems to still have meaning in today's world with the way things are going in America.

"They that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin 1759.

I kind of liked what the man was saying for it is true that ANYONE that gives up his freedom for the illusion of security deserves neither. As I have stated before there will never be a totally secure state of being in this world no matter what lies the government tell you. Anyone with half a brain can figure that out geez. So when we get to the place where we are living in a police state don't come blaming me. The more we attack other people don't you suppose the more they will attack us back. My great question for today is what plans does the president have towards what he terms "Domestic Terrorists" in America. Many organizations are now of this list such as the Sierra Club and others that stand against the governments policies on various things. Any organization from political, environmental and religious along with other groups are now on this list. It is now illegal to publicly protest against the government or that's what the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. ACT says anyway. So my question is: Will the new secret imprisonment, secret interrogation and secret trials be used against "American Domestic Terrorists"? This is something that people need to think about. Well that's all I have to say for the moment. May God and Peace be with you all.

America and the World

Never before has man had such capacity to control his own environment, to end thirst and hunger, to conquer poverty and disease, to banish illiteracy and massive human misery. I feel like I'm suffering from jet lag with out the jet : ( I guess I had a bad night of sleep. I hate insomnia it drives me crazy. Oh well I guess I will get a verse for you and we can praise God for another wonderful day on this earth. Here goes:

1 Peter 4: 1-2

Therefore, since Christ suffered in
his body, arm yourselves also with
the same attitude, because he who
has suffered in his body is done with sin.
As a result, he does not live the rest of
his earthly life for evil human desires,
but rather for the will of God.

Ok so ponder with that for a bit and let me know what you think about it. Just think about what Jesus went through to cleanse us of our sins. The pain and suffering so that we could have a new life in him. No I'm not a religious freak either. I am just a person who has seen miracles happen and have had them happen to me to the point where I can not doubt that there is a God. I have lived through several miracles and because of them I am still living and breathing and walking around. I believe that every one of us has a purpose in life that God wants us to do before we die. I have no idea what my task is but I hope that when the time comes that I will do the right thing and choose the Godly path. Let me tell you a small bit of one of the miracles in my life that I have witnessed. When I was 6 years old I was involved in an accident that literally mangled my left foot and the top doctors in the world that my parents took me to and to this day I still don't know how they paid for it since we were dirt poor all said that I would never walk again because the damage was so severe. This was in the mid 60's and they had my foot wrapped in a bandage and covered in a plastic sack to keep any air out that might cause infection. Well a few weeks after the last doctor told my parents exactly what the others had said I was laying on my bed feeling kind of down when a soft golden light filled the room and some one said for me to not worry and to take off my bandage and get up and walk. They told me that everything would be ok and then the light went away and I felt like a great load was lifted from my shoulders. I got up from the bed and pulled off the bandage and plastic bag and got up and I'm not going to say I walked but I hobbled down the hall to the living room to where my mother was. Let me tell you she was really freaked out but I just told her I refused to be a cripple and I was going to walk and that everything would be alright she just looked at me with tears in her eyes and said ok. 2 weeks later I beat my sister and brother in a softball game I was still limping a little but I was walking. Tell me again how miracles never happen in this world. This is the first time I have told this story to any one other than my wife but I feel like I need to share it with others so maybe it will give some one hope. I hope that if some one reads this that needs to have some hope in a situation that they will find it. Well I'm going to go surf some blog sites so I'm out of here. May God and Peace be with you all.

Random Thoughts and Blessings

Good morning folks. I'm a little foggy this morning as far as mental workings go. It's really hard to get good rest when you hurt all the time. Life must go on. Well I will try to look up a verse for you today so here we go.

Matthew 5: 2-12

Then he opened his mouth and taught them saying:

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst
for righteousness,
For they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted
for righteousness sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when they revile and
persecute you, and say all kinds of evil
against you falsely for My sake."

"Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for
great is your reward in heaven, for so they
persecuted the prophets who were before you."

These are the teachings of Jesus our savior and the son of God. Through faith we are saved in our belief that Jesus died for our sins and washed us clean to live a new life in him. Amen.

Ok so I have to go and get ready for work I wish every one a wonderful day and May God and peace be with you all.

Life and Rainy days

Good Morning folks. Well it's going to rain today...Yea!! let me look through my bible and get a verse for you. Ok here we go

Luke 21: 10-11

"Nation will rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be great earthquakes,
famines and pestilences in various places,
and fearful events and great signs from Heaven."

OK that should be something to ponder on.

well it's Sunday morning and I have some information for people to watch out for your credit and Identity theft protection:

AN ATTORNEY'S ADVICE -- AT NO CHARGE!!! Read this and make a copy for your files in case you need to refer to it someday. Maybe we should all take some of his advice! A corporate attorney sent the following out to the employees in his company.

1. The next time you order checks have only your initials (instead of first name) and last name put on them. If someone takes your checkbook, they will not know if you sign your checks with just your initials or your first name, but your bank will know how you sign your checks.

2. Do not sign the back of your credit cards. Instead, put "PHOTO ID REQUIRED".

3. When you're writing checks to pay your credit card accounts, DO NOT put the complete account number on the "For" line. Instead, put the last 4 numbers. The credit card company knows the rest of the numbers, and anyone handling your check as it passes through all the check processing channels won't have access to it.

4. Put your work phone # on your checks instead of your home phone. If you have a P.O Box, use that instead of your home address. If you do not have a P.O. Box, use your work address. Never have your SS# printed on your checks. (DUH!) You can add it if it is necessary. But if you have it printed, anyone can get it.

5. Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine. Do both sides of each license, credit card, etc. You will know what you had in your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to call and cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place. I also carry a photocopy of my passport when travel either here or abroad. We've all heard horror stories about fraud that's committed on us in stealing a name, address, Social Security number, credit cards.

Unfortunately, I as an attorney, have firsthand knowledge because my wallet was stolen last month. Within a week, the thieve(s) ordered an expensive monthly cell phone package, applied for a VISA credit card, had a credit line approved to buy a Gateway computer, received a PIN number from DMV to change my driving record information online, and more. But here's some critical information to limit the damage in case this happens to you or someone you know:

1. We have been told we should cancel our credit cards immediately. But the key is having the toll free numbers and your card numbers handy so you know whom to call. Keep those where you can find them.

2. File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where your credit cards, etc., were stolen. This proves to credit providers you were diligent, and this is a first step toward an investigation (if there ever is one).

But here's what is perhaps most important of all: (I never even thought to do this.)

3. Call the 3 national credit reporting organizations immediately to place a fraud alert on your name and Social Security number. I had never heard of doing that until advised by a bank that called to tell me an application for credit was made over the Internet in my name. The alert means any company that checks your credit knows your information was stolen, and they have to contact you by phone to authorize new credit.

By the time I was advised to do this, almost 2 weeks after the theft, all the damage had been done. There are records of all the credit checks initiated by the thieves' purchases, none of which I knew about before placing the alert. Since then, no additional damage has been done, and the thieves threw my wallet away. This weekend (someone turned it in). It seems to have stopped them dead in their tracks. Here are the numbers you always need to contact about your wallet, etc., has been stolen:
1.) Equifax: 1-800-525-6285
2.) Experian (formerly TRW): 1-888-397-3742
3.) Trans Union: 1-800-680-7289
4.) Social Security Administration (fraud line): 1-800-269-0271

Good advice for the wise.

Well it's a nice day and I hate to say my new puppy has gone to a new home here in town. A nice lady who had lost her dog after 17 YEARS now thats an old dog. She was really happy to get Jasmine and Jasmine was happy. I miss the little pup but at least she is making an old lady happy now : )
Ok so I'm out of here for awhile. May God and Peace be with you all.

Tired on Saturday night

Evening folks. Wow I'm so tired it's not even real. I guess I will look up a verse for you so here goes:

Ephesians 5: 22, 25

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ
loved the church and gave himself up for her.

Ok so that was short and sweet wasn't it. These two verses hold just bunches of meaning and the first has been so abused by men over the years. You can not take the first verse into account with out adding the second one in. Women should submit to their husbands as he is the head of the home but a woman should never submit unto an abusive marriage or situation. That is where the second verse comes in. A husband should love his wife the same way Christ loved the church. He gave his very life for it. A husband should love his wife that way. He should be willing to give his life for her if the situation arose that called for it. Christ gave his life unconditionally for the church and I personally believe that a husband and a wife should love each other unconditionally as well. So women when your husband starts to wave that first verse in front of you go ahead and wave the second one back at him and tell him you still love him : )

Ok I think that pretty much covers that. Well I'm off to play a game or maybe just to bug my wife some hehe

May God and Peace be with you all!

Early

Good morning folks. It's so early in the morning that I can hardly think of much to say. Here's a verse for you:

Ephesians 6: 1 - 4

Children, obey your parents in the Lord,
for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"
which is the first commandment with a promise.
"that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy
long life on earth."
Fathers, do not exasperate your children;
instead bring them up in the training
and instruction of the Lord.

Well it seems the vatican has made the people of islam angry by saying a quote
from a 14th-century Byzantine emperor as saying, “Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”

Well I guess that would work since it is from one of the people that caused some of the crusades to exterminate the islamic people in the name of his God.
Is it not strange that both sides would kill in the name of their God. Is God so blood thirsty? The God that I know is so kind and loving I can't imagine him being blood thirsty. I know he has done things in the past that had a lot of people killed but, that was before Jesus came to preach the word of Love and Peace for your fellow man. Well I have to go to work so just think on what I have said and I will check back later today. May God and peace be with you all.

New Puppy

Good morning folks. Here's a new verse for you to ponder on:

2 Cor 6: 18

I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and Daughters,
says the Lord Almighty.

OK well we got a new puppy yesterday and it is a total handful. It is supposed to be a Blue Heeler I guess that's how you spell it. Oh any way it's a neat little dog.
We will see how he turns out. Our other dog is less than happy about a new puppy in the house. I guess the new wore off after the first hour or so. Oh well I see it's time to head for work. I'll try to post a picture of Jasmine later.
May God and Peace be with you all!

Alarm clock woes and cats

Good morning folks here's some verses for you to ponder on:

John 1:1-2

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.

Question: What are these verses referring to?

Ok I forgot to set my alarm clock last night so I'm running kind of late this morning. I hate alarm clocks their only purpose in life is to jar you out of your wonderful peaceful sleep. I know they are needed especially in my case because I sometimes sleep like a rock and they could bomb my house and I would never know. At other times I'm a chronic insomniac. I guess that's how you spell it. I have been known to not sleep for 3 and 4 days at a time...let me tell you that's not healthy for you : ( Some Indian tribes have a ritual that you have to go out in the wilderness for three or more days and your not allowed to eat or drink or sleep until you have had a vision from the Great Spirit showing you your Spirit guardian animal. Personally I haven't done this so I don't know my Spirit guardian animal. I have found that all animals like me for some reason. I have a guardian angel looking out for me. I am positive of this because of some things that have happened in my life. One case I posted on earlier in my blog about my car wreck that I walked away from without a mark on me. When I first met my wife she had a couple of dogs that were confirmed man haters. They would do their very best to eat any man that came close to my sweety. Well the first time I went out to here house in the country I got out of the car and she warned me about the dogs and I shook my head ok then I walked over and petted both of them and they just loved me to death. They were just wonderful animal. Both were party Chow and something else but they looked like Chows. I think the proper name for Chows is Chow Chows. Silly to say it twice. Any way they just fell in love with me and I thought my sweety was going to fall down from shock. I was the first man to ever do that with them. : ) Like I said animals just love me. I got to pet a tiger once I did come away bleeding but that's because the tiger tried to do the cat thing and curl up on me and knead it's paws and claws on my arm and no body told me they had not removed it's claws. Wow tigers have long claws even for half grown cubs. It was a great experience any way. I just loved that cat. I'm by nature not a cat lover and never have been. I did own a couple of cats once. One was named Dementia which was the momma cat and her son Rufus. Dementia was a weird cat and her son was strange to say the least. he was the first cat I had ever seen that had thumbs on it's paws. He could grab things and he would stand up on his hind legs and put his front paws on his side and stand there and watch you do things. Like I said he was weird. I still carry a scar from that cat. Dementia was just what I named her she was demented totally. She had a mean streak in her a mile long. She would attack my friends when they least expected it. I usually had to lock her in a room if I had a party. I just loved that cat she came to me as a kitten while I was walking my dog during a severe thunderstorm. I was walking down in front of my house when this kitten came UP OUT of a water puddle and I do mean UP OUT of the water. She didn't just walk through it she came out of the water and was black as night and followed me home and cried outside my bedroom window until I went out and brought her in out of the storm and the rest was history. I will finish this story and the further adventures of Dementia later. Right now I have to go to work so I'm outa here. May God and Peace be with you all.

Just a few comments

Good morning folks. Well I hear that president Bush gave another speech last night to try and win over the country to back his view of what's happening in the world today. Well I got to thinking back over the years and the man has pretty much lied to everybody the whole time he has been in office so why should people believe him now. Does anybody remember the Iran-Iraq war? Well does anybody remember that the US government backed Saddam during that war. We did and does anybody remember when Russia invaded Afghanistan and the US government backed the Taliban rebels. We did and we armed and trained them. The US government has trained and armed most every group in the middle east at one time or the other depending on what the US agenda was at the time. Does anybody remember what happened to Russia after the Afghan war? They went broke and their country collapsed because of it. People need to remember these things because they are important. Look at what is happening now. We are fighting the very people we trained and armed. Is that irony or what? I say we impeach Bush and throw the rest of the trash out of Washington as well!!

Ok here's a bible verse for you

Look, he is coming with the clouds,
and every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and all the peoples of the earth
will mourn because of him,
So shall it be! Amen

Where is that verse located in the bible?

Well I'm off to read my bible and get charged up with the word for the day.
May God and Peace be with you all!

I survived!!

Well Hi ya folks and good evening. Well it's 6 am and I'm getting ready for work. I have had a different view about work since I gave my life over to Jesus. I don't work for them I work for Jesus now which makes a total difference. Life is good. I still have bad times what Christian doesn't. It's how I deal with those bad times now that counts. I used to get down or angry or get really bothered by things that happen around me. I don't do that now,I just give things over to the lord and go on about my business. Nobody ever said life as a Christian was going to be easy in reality life is harder because evil is constantly attacking you trying to get you to give up on God and go back to the secular world. The Lord blesses all who keep faith with him. Praise the Lord!

Ok I just read an article about the CIA buying legal insurance because they believe that they have broken laws while interrogating suspects. Here is a link to the story.
CIA Buying Legal Insurance

Well that's all folks. Well it's been a good weekend so far and I still have bible study to do this evening. Well I just through reading the news and as usual it was kind of depressing. Cheney was talking trash about "so what that there were not any WMD's in Iraq we would have attacked any way". He was also saying as usual the same old thing that we must stay the course that we will be there for a loooong time, same with Afghanistan. What did Bush do start a war that has no end to it. As long as there are going to be radicals in this world, we will have war. If it's not radical islamics it will be radical hindus. Where does it STOP! Is Bush going to kill everybody that's not American? War never solves nothing. NOBODY EVER WINS A WAR!!! All war does is kill a lot of innocent people. ARRGGHH!!! Life is to short for all this killing. Ask any normal person on any street any where in the world which would they choose to have at their front door... War or Peace. 99.999% of the people will say peace and happiness. It's those .0001% people that want war and death and killing. I have a wonderful idea let's get all the 99.999% people and let them gather up the .0001% people and put them in a rocket and blast them off into space so they can find another planet to bomb. Sounds good to me : )

Well enough of ranting hahaha

Well I feel better now any way. Well I guess I'll go read my bible and get ready for tonight's study. We are going through Ephesians at the moment so I'm off to study folks. May God and Peace be with you all.

Oh yea here's a verse for you today to ponder on

Ephesians chapter 5 verse 1-2
Be imitator's of God, therefore, as dearly loved children, and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Friday Evening

Good evening folks. I hope everybody had a good day. Well I'm gonna post another pic of the beautiful Texas sunsets series. I hope that you like it. Well today was not very interesting for me. I had a hard time at work because I was being bothered by my meds again... The ride home on my bike was the interesting part all dizzy and trying to keep my balance lol. After I got home I laid down and slept for a few hours I just couldn't seem to keep awake. That was 11 this morning and I still feel like I could lay down for another nap. Oh well maybe I'm just weird and meds don't work right for me.

Hey does anybody know where I can get a "Impeach Bush!" bumper sticker : ) or should I say "Arrest Bush!" sticker.

Question: What's worse than a one party system of government?

Answer.... to be announced : )
unless a lucky person can come up with it.

Ok enough of that loser Bush on to better things.

It's the weekend Wooo Hooo!
How many people out there really love their wives or girlfriends?
Well I'm one of the very lucky ones that do. I think my wife is the best of the best. We get along so well it's scary ; ) I know I drive her nuts sometimes but you will have that in a relationship. It's the give and take that keeps a relationship going strong. One person can't always do all the taking and do no giving. That's a quick rode to unhappiness for both parties. True love should be unconditional with out any strings attached. All those young boys out there that keep dishing out that same old BS, that "Oh baby if you love me you'll have sex with me..." routine that is sooo full of BS. It should be ...Oh baby I love you and I can wait to make love to you when we get married. Now doesn't that sound much better. I'll probably get a lot of hate mail for that statement but oh well I can deal with it.
OK enough with all the good advice hehe

Well I'm going to go lay down until dinner so I'll write again later. May God and Peace be with you all.

War Crimes in America

Well good morning everybody. Well it finally happened our current government has openly admitted to things that make them guilty of war crimes as stated in the War Crimes act of the 1990's that was pushed through congress by George Bush Sr. Isn't it ironic that a law made legal by the father would later make a self admitted felon out of his own son. George W. Bush our current president has admitted that he has kept prisoners in secret CIA prisons and has used as he puts it "Rough" interrogation tactics to get information from prisoners. By the War Crimes act the president and his administration are guilty of war crimes and should be treated as war criminals. The president is currently trying to push through an amendment to the War Crimes act that would take out the part where he and his cronies could be prosecuted. If any Americans read this blog please tell everybody you know to write their congressmen and senators to stop this from being done. If it is passed then the government will have a free hand at torturing any and all prisoners with out any form of control by the people, the courts, congress and senate. One of the provisions of this amendment is to remove any ability of our court system from being able to stop the flagrant mistreating of prisoners. What Bush is trying to do is remove America from the Geneva Convention rules that all countries have agreed to follow for the fair and ethical treatment of prisoners. If you don't believe that this needs to be stopped just ask anybody who has ever been a prisoner of an evil government such as the Nazi's, Communist Russia, Communist China, North Korea, Vietnam or any other country that are run by dictators. Vietnam veterans that were held prisoners can tell you right quick that this law doesn't need to be changed...It needs ENFORCED!! Our president needs to be brought before the courts that he is trying so hard to nullify and be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the LAW! Not just him but everybody that was involved like Condi Rice, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and all the others that help make the decision to make America less of a Democracy and more like a Dictatorship. Can I have an AMEN! I know I know the guys in black suits are gonna come and take me away but I have the right to cry FOUL when I see our country being abused by what I term Domestic Terrorists that rule our government. Next thing you know they will be asking all Americans to act as spies against our own families just like Nazi Germany did. Is anybody in America still awake or is everybody so scared of another attack that we will allow those in charge to make any law they want to. I will state this all those that live in this wonderful country that believe that we should give up our freedom, that so many men and women have fought so hard to let us be free to have more security need to pack up and leave this country because you basically spit in the face of all those who have given their lives to keep us free. As a great American once said " Those who choose to give up liberty to have security Deserve neither". That was stated by Benjamin Franklin way back when our founding fathers first started this beautiful country. I say this to the people of America.....LIVE FREE OR DIE!!! Remember another great American..."Give me Liberty or give me Death!" And the government hanged him for his choice to have freedom. Is it true that history repeats it self? Bush wants to start executing prisoners with out ever showing them what evidence he has against them does that sound legal? Should every American fear for their lives? What's next firing squads for dissenting opinions against the government? As it stands if you do protest against the government you are by the law a domestic terrorist and I do mean the Law. Bush passed that law with the help of other politicians. Did any one do anything to stop it...NO. So PLEASE People WAKE UP. Stop the MADNESS!! Contact your ELECTED officials in the government and tell them as our EMPLOYEES that you said to stop this from going any further. Well I think I have vented my frustrations enough so I'm going to go and hopefully they won't come and take me away. LET FREEDOM RING! May God and Peace be with you all.

Lies in America

Good morning folks. Well it finally came out that the president admitted that he has been holding people in secret prisons around the world so that he could use torture to get information out of them. This is a really bad situation for people. It has been said that innocent people had been picked up in different places tortured only to find out they were innocent then they would be dumped off in remote locations and told never to say anything about what happened to them. Sometimes these folks would be held for months and even years...is this not insane or what. I personally believe that although terrorists are evil people our president doesn't have the right to make our wonderful country to become evil in return. This is the same man that "claims" to be a Christian. Torture has been proven to be a tool of evil governments. Now we know why the president refused to sign the treaty banning torture. Does anybody remember the spanish inquisition? This was the time that people were imprisoned and tortured until they confessed their wrong doings. Well if you hurt somebody bad enough and long enough they will end up telling you exactly what you want to hear even if it's not true. With this happening why do people wonder why our captured soldiers and civilians are treated so bad by other countries. America is supposed to be above doing things like this. We as Americans are supposed to set an example of how to live to the other countries in the world. How is anyone supposed to respect the US if we are acting like a dictatorship. The president has taken this great country and brought it down to the level being shameful in the eyes of the world. As a christian I pray for this country everyday that God may lead and guide us out of the darkness that the present government has brought us into. Well I have to go so May God and Peace be with you all.

Another Wonderful Day

Good morning folks. Well I'm glad to survive the nigh it was really rough. I had a severely bad reaction to a new medicine that my doctor gave me I am extremely sure I'm allergic to it. It was for chronic pain that I suffer from oh well I will just have to try something else or just live with the pain. uugghh I was doing really good until my doctor took me off of anti-inflammatories or however you spell it. I'm still not thinking good yet so please excuse my typing. I have had a lot of accidents in my life and suffer from arthritis and degenerative disk disease in my back and neck which cause me extreme pain 24/7. I felt really good until about a week after he made me stop taking Oruvail which is a wondeful medicine that works really well. I had been taking it for about 15 years and was happy until he told me it was damaging my kidneys. Oh well So no more of the stuff that works and he refuses to put me on any other anti-inflammatory. So I guess I'm S.O.L.

Life must go on. As some people have told me to just be tough I'm a man. They don't have to live with the pain so they can all go take a hike as far as I'm concerned.

I was reading a blog this morning about a woman that lives with an online gamer and he has stopped paying attention to her any more. Being an X online gamer as I am I gave her one suggestion that might work or it might not. I said for her to go in while he is asleep and cut the end off of his gaming systems power cord. It's a simple way to stop him until you can get him to discuss what's more important to him you or the game. I made the right decision I chose my wife, not because she is a redhead and owns a gun either : ) I love her and she is a lot more important to me than any silly game.
My best friend is a total game addict to the point where her will totally ignore his wife and children. It is so bad that his family may be with out food but he has the money to get new stuff for his computer. So sad. His new born baby may be screaming her lungs out but he doesn't have the time to deal with her because he is playing a stupid game. Is this totally crazy or what. He complains that he can't get a job but even when he gets one he works for a few weeks or until a new game comes out then he quits his job or just doesn't come in until they fire him because he is to busy playing his GAME. Is this totally insane or what. Oh well I got to go to work now. May God and Peace be with you all.

Work day and God

Good morning and welcome to another day of work. I hope everybody had a nice and relaxing weekend. I did and I guess I'm ready for another wonderful week at work. I have made a decision to try and not let things get me down any more. I used to get really depressed about work and having to deal with people that I have to work around but I realized that I can't let the things in the world get to me any more. I am stocking up on things for eternity instead of this world. If you think about eternity that's a really long time and then think about the short life span we have. Even if you live to 120 years old it is still just a blip on the screen. Don't get me wrong it's nice to have nice things to own but you can't take them with you when you die. I know there are people that insist that when you die it's over but you have to think about this.. Do people have a spirit or soul that makes up who they are? Or are we just another stupid multi-celled organism wondering around the universe? Think on it for a minute....
Do you think you are more than just an animal or as scientists put it we are just mammals another link in the food chain? I personally think I am more than that. I think we were created to be more than that. The human race were given a soul and the ability to think and have free will. Sometimes the way mankind acts I wonder if we have lost the ability to use that free will and intelligence to treat others of our race and our planet the way it should be treated. I just can't believe that people are so caught up on the color of our skin when even we are all humans and we all have to live on this earth together. Why is it that since we were all given the gift of life that people think they have the GOD GIVEN RIGHT to take life away. Basically all religions teach peace and kindness towards others but some people have decided to twist religion around to make it look like killing others and taking lives is acceptable in the eyes of GOD well I may be just a small piece of this planet but let me let you in on a secret IT ISN'T ACCEPTABLE!! The color of someone's skin or if they happen to live on this side of town or they are in this or that religion shouldn't matter. The majority of people on this planet want to live in peace. Would it surprise those that thrive on hatred and hostility if all the people on the planet that want peace stood up one fine day and announced that enough was enough and we wouldn't tolerate it any more and put a stop to it. Now wouldn't that be a day to remember the day peace was spread across our planet. Well I'm through saying what I want to say so let everybody that reads this just think on it.

Question for the day... Do you believe in Angels?

May God and Peace be with you all.

Labor Day weekend ends

Evening one and all. I hope everybody had a good weekend. I had a great one and I guess I should rest up for work in the morning. I didn't do a whole lot today just kicked back around the house and read up on the news and then I went over to a friends house and tried to fix their computer that was totally trashed with viruses and trojans. I worked steadily for 2 and a half hours before I threw my hands up and told them I would come back and do a fresh install of their system. As far as I was concerned it was a trotline weight. Good thing they didn't throw away their Dell start up disk. Oh well I'm not going to worry about it tonight I need to relax and enjoy life. My wife and I uncovered our attic fan for the first time in 4 years and turned it on to see if it would work and wow it actually came on. We had to do something it was cooler outside than it was inside the house. I refuse to sit in my house and sweat when its 70 degrees outside besides the A/C was killing us on the electric bill. Oh well that's the way it goes sometimes. Well I think I'm going to go for now and go lay down for a few minutes to let my back stop hurting some. May God and Peace be with you all.

Wooo Hooo and it's a Beautiful Day!!

Greeting folks and isn't a wonderful day today! Well yesterday went off just great and we had several people get baptized and one young lady decided to give her life over to the Lord and got baptized right then and there. Isn't God just wonderful how he can work in peoples hearts. That young ladies life is changed forever now and for the better. My wife and I decided to get baptized together at the same time and it was just beautiful and moved a lot of people in their hearts. May God always look upon my family and home with pleasure and happiness. I think everybody had a wonderful time and just enjoyed the fellowship of those around them. I thought it was going to rain on us for awhile but we prayed on it and the clouds went away and we had clear blue skies and it turned out to be just beautiful weather. I am so at peace with the world I can hardly believe it. I am looking forward to what life has in store for me and my wife. God has greatly blessed us even tho we go through trials and hard times we never give up our faith that things will be ok. God greatly blesses those that keep the faith in him.

On other things I was reading a story on bloggers rights and how people's right to free speech and expression is being threatened by governments and politicians trying to stop bloggers from saying what they want to and writing what is the truth so if you wonder what your rights are, here is a link to the EFF site that supports and helps defend people that are having their rights taken away.
here is the link Blogger's Rights

Ok we are on the countdown to the Mexican Meltdown, 2 days to go and counting. Let's all pray for them and hope that violence can be avoided.

I also read a story about a film company in England coming out with a movie that depicts a fictitious documentary style assassination of President Bush. Hopefully Bush won't assassinate them for doing it. LOL

Well I think I have covered everything that I wanted to say for now. May God and Peace be with you all.

Special Sunday!!

Hiyas folks and welcome to my extra special sunday!! I've just been sitting around since I got back from church scanning thru random blogs biding my time until it's time to go to the BBQ and baptism tonight. Me and my wife are gonna get baptized again since it was a long time ago for me and it's been awhile for her as well. I have to admit that I am in a better state of mind and in a closer place with God. I have come a long way and have been through a lot since I got baptized in 1980. I try my best to not get in the habit of living for me instead of living for God. If I live for God then everything I do will be blessed many times over. I found that the more I lived for me the worse things ended up in the long run. God gives a person what they need not necessarily what they want and people get frustrated with that idea. It is basic human nature to be self centered which is a state of mind that needs to be controlled if one is to live a good life in peace and harmony with others. If a person lives fully for God then peace comes with the package. Maybe I'm rambling today it's possible considering my mind is on something other that writing in this blog. I am hoping that peace may find all who seek it out and that God may pour out his many blessings upon those who seek him.

Well it's 3 days to go and counting to see if Mexico is going to have a major meltdown or not. With the past that Mexico has as far as politics go I'm betting it's going to be a free for all. I am glad that I don't live right on the border so I can have some kind of advance warning if things get nasty and spills over the border into Texas. All this talk about security in America is nothing but politics. If washington was serious about making America secure it would have already been done. The government and politicians in America like to put on a great show but they get so busy arguing with each other that they never get anything done. With elections coming up I figure it will be like it has always been both sides will lie excessively to get in office. I never believe anything a politician says during election season. Well I'm gonna go for now and I'll write some more later. May God and Peace be with you all.

Tired

Evening folks and how is everybody doing tonight? Well it's been a long day and I haven't gotten anything done at all. My wife and I did get to go ride my Harley down to the ice cream shop and get some ice cream : ) mmmm mmm mmm it was soooo good too. After that I didn't do anything at all other than sit around and look at my computer until my back and eyes started hurting. I looked around my house to see if my old drafting stuff was still laying around. I wanted to see what was still left of it so I can start to draw out my new invention out on paper instead of just in sketches in my idea book. I have a notebook that I put my ideas in so I might do something with them some day. I got an idea for a new heater that uses 20 watts of electricity and puts out 1500 watts of heat and it works too. I have the scar to prove it. I get these ideas all the time they seem to pop into my head at 3 am for some odd reason. I don't know what it is about 3 am but it drives me nuts sometimes. I stopped telling people my ideas because I have had several of them stolen and the other people got rich and I stayed poor. : ( I now have a lawyer to take care of my affairs so I don't have to worry about it any more. Ok enough about my great ideas.
Well we only have 4 more days to go until Mexico has a major meltdown. That is when the high court rules on who won the presidential race and it doesn't look good for Andres Orbrador not to say he isn't going to take over the government anyway. He has already stated that if he didn't win he would have his own little revolution to take over. I was reading where he had already set up an alternate government to run things and his officials that are in the present government charged the stage and kept president Fox from giving his state of the union speech last night. I'm guessing all heck is gonna break loose when Fox and Calderon try to stop Orbrador from doing things his way. it's going to be another bloody revolution like they have had before in Mexico. That will mean a major influx of illegal immigrants fleeing across the border into the US. Oh well all I can do is pray for peace in that poor little country and hope they don't bring their revolution across the border to our side of town. We have enough problems here with out an all out invasion from south of the border. Well I'm gone for the night may God and Peace be with you all.

OhJoy

Good morning folks. It's another beautiful day to wake up to. I hope the world is going good for everybody that reads this. I was looking through my pictures on my computer this morning and ran up on a couple that I kind of liked so I am going to post them here for all to enjoy with me. This is another beautiful sunset that I was impressed with...Is God a wonderful artist or what : )
Well I'm just killing time until my sweety is ready to go for a ride on my Harley. Why is it that it takes a woman an hour or more to get ready and a man it takes ten minutes? It's one of those mysteries of the known world...haha. I don't really care how long it takes her I love her anyway : ) It's wonderful weather for a ride, nice and cool and slightly overcast it should be a good ride. I'm going to have to give a friend a call to see if he is going to be around his house today so I can go over and exorcise the virus that has taken over his families computer. Somebody has downloaded and installed something that they shouldn't and so far nobody will admit to it haha. Oh well if all else fails I'll just format and reinstall. It does give me a chance to inform my fiends daughters the importance of online safety since they use Myspace and other social sites as well as IM to talk to all their friends. There are to many crazy people out there looking to hurt kids and I personally believe that any one convicted of harming kids should be put away for the rest of their lives!!
Well here is another picture that I found showing a really neat car that was on display in one of the towns me and my wife happened to drive through.

Pretty neat car huh. It's a Maxwell I don't know what year model it is but I like it anyway. Oh well I got to go get my bike shined up for the ride so I'm outa here and I will post again later. My God and Peace with you all.

Friday Night

Hiyas folks and welcome to another boring Friday night. Well I survived another day at work and I still have a job so I guess I'm doing ok. Well it's labor day weekend and I'm looking forward to it. My wife and I are getting baptized this sunday and I hope the weather stays nice. I am hoping to do some riding tomorrow maybe : ) Anytime I can go ride my harley is a good time. The weather has been great all week long in the mid 90's with a cool breeze blowing. I just love this time of the year. I'm not planning on staying up for long cause I'm really tired but i just wanted to say a few things so here I sit.

Sometimes I think the world is going absolutely crazy. We have people going nuts in Mexico and Mexicans going nuts in the US. I'm beginning to believe that the favorite word for mexicans this week is REVOLUTION!!! They want to protest and march in the streets of America waving little mexican flags. If they love Mexico sooo much why don't they move back there then. Oh well all I can do is pray for them and hope things don't turn out violent.

Ok Ok so that's my rant for the day. Well I'm all tuckered out ranting : ) so I guess I'm going to head for bed and get some sleep. May God and Peace be with you all.

End O Month

Well it's the end of the month and I've made it through alive once again. I feel like crud but it's almost bed time so who cares. I'm hoping to get some sleep tonight because I really need some. After last night and having a bad reaction to my new meds all I want to do is lay down and pass out. Tomorrow is friday so I'm almost there. This weekend I get baptized and begin my life once again. I hope to not make the same mistakes that I have before, maybe I have learned something in all the years I've lived on this planet. With all the things in my life that have brought me closer to God I am getting better at being content with what I have in life. I have come down a long hard road to where I'm at only to realize that chasing after all the material things in life just wasn't where it was at. It's the small blessing in life that matter. People tend to get their priorities messed up in life. I am just thrilled to death to just wake up in the morning. Tomorrow is not promised to any one in this world. All you have is the moment that you are at right now not 10 seconds from now not even 2 seconds. Like they say tomorrow never comes and yesterday is gone forever. Just learn from your yesterdays to make today the very best it can be. "LIFE LESSON #1 Don't sweat the small stuff". With that said I'm going head for bed and I'll see ya next month or tomorrow which ever comes first : )
May God and Peace be with you all!

Super Dog!

Good morning and how is everybody today? I'm still trying to wake up and it's pretty hard today cause I didn't get much sleep. Get to sleep at 3:30 am and wake up at 5:30 am doesn't give you much rest. Well it's another wonderful day in the neighborhood : ) Well I made a comment about my wife's dog Pnut the other day and I was wrong about something she can open doors, how she does it is a mystery to me but she can she just doesn't close them. She is a really smart dog she taught herself how to open them. Like I said she is such a momma's dog she hates to closed off from my wife. I'm gonna post a photo of her so everybody can see Pnut the Superdog as we refer to her as. All she needs is a red cape and she would be all set : )

Service dogs are really great animals. They cost a lot to get a fully trained one from a place that trains and sells them. We were given Pnut and we are training her ourselves as we can not afford to pay up to $20,000 for a fully trained one. Pnut is as sweet a dog as you could ever want to have. She is a total lover and not a fighter. My wife would be lost with out her around. She is real responsive to my wife's moods and can tell if my wife gets down or depressed, when she does notice this she showers my wife with lots of love and affection to the point of being very pushy. Well it's that time again. I'm off to work so I'll let you go for now and I'll post again later. May God and Peace be with you today and everyday.

Oh the Pain!!!

Evening folks. Well I will be really glad for this day to be over with. I had to go to see the doctor today and dang I hurt worse now than when I went in to see him. Oh well. I was doing just fine until he took me off of my anti-inflamatory or how ever you spell it. He said my kidneys were getting damaged aaarrgghh well my whole dang body feels damaged now. Oh well like they say "Life's a Beach".
I'm going to try and do something different tonight I'm gonna try and post a photo of a Texas sunset not far from where I live. Well here goes......
Woo Hoo it worked!!!
Well I'm glad that worked I guess I'll have to post more in the future. I just love sunsets and Texas has some beautiful ones. I just love taking photos of things, I bought me a nice digital camera and some memory cards just for that purpose. I'll have to get a nice photo of my Harley Davidson . I named her Pearl cause she is pearl white. She is a 2001 883 Sportster - California Model or thats what the guy at the dealership said anyway. I just went up there to look at them and next thing you know I was riding home on one : ) I knew better than to come home on anything other than a Harley, my wife would have killed me and I kinda like living. I was looking at all the bikes that they had up there and I could have bought a brand new fully loaded and tricked out Honda or Yamaha for what I paid for my used bike but like I said I like living. Besides I have always wanted a Harley and I had always told myself that I didn't ever have enough money to get one. Well I decided that I was 46 years old at the time and if I didn't get one then I would never get one at all. Everybody tells me I should have got something bigger but I just keep telling them I didn't want anything bigger I liked Pearl when I first saw her and I still do today.Maybe it was a midlife crisis who knows...I'm happy!! : )

Ok I have a question for the day please jump in if you have a comment on this.
What are the seven spirits of God?

Well I'm outa here for tonight so may God and Peace be with you all.

Just chillin

Hiyas folks and good evening. Well I made it through the day in one piece and I'm just sitting around the house relaxin and taking it easy. It was so nice today in the mid 80's with a nice cool breeze. My wife is gone to bible study so it's just me and the dog and she's hid under the bed as usual. She is such a momma's dog! What else can I expect from her since she is my wife's service animal. She is a really good one too. We haven't got her trained to open doors yet but I'm working on it. My wife tried to teach her how to sort laundry but that didn't work out to well. I had forgotten dogs are color blind or something like that. Well my wife would tell her which piece of clothing to pick up and where to put it and she would take this piece and take it this room and this piece to that room but no place where she was told to put them. I think my wife has given up on trying that again. What I like most about pnut is she never barks unless there is really some one there at the door. She is such a quiet dog I just love it and so does my wife. We don't like alot of noise in our lives, we like it quiet....that is unless I get in the mood to turn my stereo on. I have such a wonderful stereo : ) I got it in one of the best deals I have ever been in in my whole life. My brother decided to get God in his life and he for some reason decided that he didn't need to listen to music anymore....strange idea. It's a complete Onkyo system with the control center and equalizer and dual tape deck and cd player and record player....(anybody still remember what a record is) and it has 4 really fantastic Cerwin Vega speakers. If you crank this baby up you can hear it loud and clear for a 1/4 mile away and that's not even all the way up. One word descibes it and that's AWESOME!!! Being as I live in town with a really redneck police force that don't get along with loud music that is unless it's gangster rap and then they just ignore it cause they don't want to cause any trouble with the homies I don't crank it up to often. Oh well I'm way to tired to rant and rave tonight. Well I think I'm going to post this and then work on a couple of computers that need servicing so I guess I'm outta here for the time being. May God and Peace be with you all.

Sleepy in Texas

Greetings and good morning to everybody. Well it's 6:20 am and I'm getting ready for another day at work. I'll have to check the weather to see if it's going to rain again today I kinda hope so because we really need the rain. I just hope it doesn't make my yard come back to life. I worked really hard to kill it in the first place...HATES mowing the yard! Well I kinda gave up on figuring out Linux software for the time being. I'm crazy enough with out any added pressure. I just reformatted the computer and installed that most hideous of systems....Windows aaarrrggghhh!!! Bill Gates shame on you for the things you do to people and please make your software less nosy about what people are doing on their computers. Windows shouldn't have a phone home feature especially with media player 11. I refuse to upgrade because I don't like it for people to snoop through my computer to see if I "May or Might" be doing something that in some one else's opinion isn't legal or not. I have songs on my computer that I have taken from cd's that I have legally purchased to listen to at my convenience or to put on my flash drive and take to work and listen to them there. I have that right as a consumer. I paid for that right when I paid for the music. The RIAA and the music industry don't see it that way. They think you have NO rights as a consumer and any transfer of music from one form to another is illegal I have one thing to say to them...I HATE IT FOR YOU!!!
This is America after all. They are paying our politicians to pass laws that take away our rights as consumers and make life more painful for every one involved. Oh well it's time to go so I'm off to work . May God and Peace be with you all!

Monday Evening

Well howdy folks. I made it through the day in one piece and it's still raining outside thanks God. As I said in this mornings post I was looking for a program called As Simple as Photoshop and I finally found it. It took me forever but I finally tracked it down. I like the program because it teaches you how to use Photoshop with videos and graphics instead of boring old text. Someday I'm gonna get my computer room straightened up...hey wait was that a pig flying by my window WOW! Oh well it could happen lol
I'm pretty sure that half of my cd's are bad from just sitting around and I doubt any of the programs still work. I've had a bunch of them go bad on me from not being used. I could understand a floppy disk going bad but cd's? Just another one of those things that the world does just to bug you. I don't think I have any rants or raves tonight. I just wanna get some rest it's been a long day....

Oh yeah I read an interesting article the other day that might interest those that served in WW II. New Jersey one of the last few states that celebrates VJ Day or Victory Day to those that don't know is under pressure from japanese and other groups to get it removed from the list of state holidays because it is offensive to the japanese people. Anybody out there remember August 14,1945 and how people danced in the streets and all the girls got kissed and all that wonderful stuff because the war had ended and all our guys and gals were coming home finally. And now the japanese who committed so many unnamable atrocities against our fighting men and women want to get rid of the holiday and celebration of all of that ending because it OFFENDS them! Personally I DON'T THINK SO!!! So if you live in New Jersey or any state for that matter write your politicians and tell them that you want your state to continue to remember the great victory that we had and to continue to celebrate that day to the best that we can. We all should show pride in that day and any day that a war has ended and our soldiers can come home once again to be with their loved one's. Well that's all I have to say so may God and Peace be with you.

Monday and Photoshop

Greetings People and how is everybody in the Universe doing today? Great I hope. Well it's Monday morning and 5 am came really early but, it's need to be done so I can have a couple of hours to blog and read my bible and meditate so I can make it through work with out having a complete meltdown. : ) I am totally amazed about what happened yesterday and is continuing today...IT'S RAINING!!!! We have not seen rain in month's and we are under a total burn ban and with class 2 water restrictions. Who said God doesn't answer prayers! It does mean I can't ride my harley to work but, I don't care : ) It's Raining and what a blessing it is. Well enough about the rain. I was on a blog site that someone was having a problem with the program Photoshop which I have been using for a few years now and I had mentioned that there was a program called "As Simple as Photoshop" or asap as it is labeled that teaches people how to use it. I don't remember where I got the file at, since it has been awhile ago but, I am hoping that he can do a Google search for it. I still have the program some where in my stack of cd's littered around my computer room. I will try in the next few days to locate this program because you never know I might have forgot some of the basics and you never get to old to relearn old and new things. I really like Photoshop I have version 6 and 7 but I think I like version 6 better. You can do almost anything to a digital photo using this program. To bad it costs around $600 dollars or more. Well it's almost time to head to work but, if anyone needs any help with this just drop me a reply here and I will try to get back with you. I post here everyday so I will be checking messages often. I have to say it's been a wonderful day so far. I have some things to say today that was brought to my attention today about some of the statements that I have made on my page here. Let's start with I may disagree with what some of the politicians are doing in my country but I do support my country 100 percent and the people that serve in the military that fight to keep this country free I support 100 percent. I will support and fight for my country against all foe's domestic and foreign to keep this country free. I hope that all other American's feel the same way. This country came about because the PEOPLE that lived here fought to make it that way and I hope the PEOPLE still feel that way. This idea that some have that they don't want to get involved in how the government runs this country needs to get kicked to the curb because that's how freedom gets lost. Well that's all I want to say at the moment so may God and Peace be with you all.

Total Meltdown

Well now how is everybody doing today? I'm just sitting here in the heat sweating my brains out because my A/C doesn't cool during the day unless you turn on both units and who the heck can afford that now days. So I turn on the main one during the days because my wife stays up front of the house most of the day where the A/C is and my computer room is in the back of the house so I try to use some fans to pull what cool air I can back to me. At night we turn the small A/C that is back here with me on to help cool the bedroom. As they say here in Texas "It's hotter than bisciut out there". We finally got below a 100 degrees for the first time in months. I love Texas I just don't always love the weather. The only time to go ride my bike is really early in the morning when it's cool but since I have to be at work by 7am I can only do that on the weekends. Oh well the sacrifices one must make to live on this planet.

I took a break from trying to learn Linux and read some things in the news this morning. One congressman told the press that the government is thinking of building a wall not just a fence but a wall from the gulf coast to the pacific ocean to keep out illegal aliens and terrorists. He said that the cost of doing this would be cheaper than paying to keep the national guard on the border for 5 years. Then we wouldn't have to worry about the mexican police and military shooting at our people any more as has happened in the past when the mexican officials try to protect drug smugglers and immigrant smugglers. I guess it would also keep the mexican army from invading us again like they did a few years ago here in Texas. Don't laugh, with a possible revolution in the process by the presidential contender Orbrador who has stated publically that if he isn't given the presidency in mexico he will take it by revolution. If that happens where does that leave America? With a wide open border what is there to stop him from trying to take back the land that mexico lost in their last war with the US. With America fighting on several fronts in other countries and our military stretched so thin just how safe are we? I think the politicians in washington have their priorities screwed up.
With 15 to 20 million illeagal immigrants here in this country who are loyal to mexico and I say this because they have proven it since the issue about immigration started again. They have protested in the streets waving mexican flags and boycotted businesses and mexico has stated that these fine people send 20 BILLION dollars back to mexico each year. Alot of that money but not all of it goes to building mansions and other nice things where they can live like kings in mexico on money that could have been used in the American economy. Ok let's add this up 15 to 20 million mexicans IN the US added with the 10 to 15 million mexicans IN mexico that back Orbrador so that adds up to ALOT of people to deal with if Orbrador decides to invade America after he takes over mexico. Our wonderful politicians in washington and the president think that people on the other side of the planet are more of a danger to the people here at home than those living on the other side of the border with the USA.

There are those and of course I'm not one of them (looks for the men in black) that would compare Orbrador to George W. Bush with the only difference being that Orbrador is going to take over and become a dictator out front and very publicly while Bush is doing it in secret and with the power of his pen using signing statements to bypass the laws, the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States. How many people out there know that if the terrorist threat level is raised to red the highest level the president has the option of declaring martial law that would result in congress, senate and the judicial branches of government to be disbanded and closed down and all authority given to the president. It is true and our wonderful politicians did it for him by passing several laws one of which is the P.A.T.R.I.O.T Act you know the one the law that passed by 100 percent of votes right after Sept 11th. It cleared Congress and Senate inside of one week without any debate at all. People have gotten so used to these threat levels that they are ignorant of what happens when some of the higher levels get reached. We have only reached red once since Sept 11th and that was when the british plane thing was going on the other day and it was designated to only a few small areas of the US, if red is declared across the country it will set into motion everything that freedom loving Americans fear most....The possible End of America as we know it!

Oh well enough rants and raves for the day. Oh yeah and by the way this was all just a fiction of your imagination, hopefully they won't come and take me away for speaking my mind and saying what I beleive is true. Of course with the new times here in America that could possibly happen. Remember People Keep Alert, Pay Attention, and don't beleive everything the government tells you. May God and Peace be with you.

TGIF

Thank God it's Friday!!! I didn't think I was going to make it through the day. I was really glad that the temp had dropped below 105 today. We have had around 90 to 100 days straight with temps above 100 degrees. The heat wasn't the bad part it was the humidity that got ya. Oh well it's all over now and I'm safe at home in the good ol A/C getting good and chilled. I have to admit I'm kinda spoiled to air conditioners one of the truly great inventions of all time that is next to pizza and ice cream. : ) I went to get a friend of mine's son this afternoon where he was playing football. I was leaning there up against the fence watching the kids play and a fight started out on the field and the coaches literally pounced on the kids. I don't know who was enjoying the violence more the kid's or the coaches. The coaches pulled the kids apart then walked them to the side lines the whole time telling them "Way to go, keep it up,you will get them next time", and people wonder why kids are killing kids in schools. The total fostering of violence at a school event was shocking. What was really bad was the parents that were cheering it on. I have played football and you can play it with out that kind of violence. The day they took God and his kind of moral values out of school was a really dark day. The law that they are using to remove God from all these places in America was written not to keep God out but,to keep a religious government from taking over like the church of England did. That's why our fore fathers of this wonderful country broke away from the church state that England was. This country was founded by radical Christians in the belief that they must have freedom to worship God in any form they wanted and not be subjected to the tyranny of England's church. If any one doesn't believe that the people that created this great country weren't extreme believers in God should read up on them and see for yourselves. George Washington used to pray all the time before and after the battles that he faught. The capital building has scripture written all over it inside and out. I was totally blown away the other day that a preacher was the head of one of the organizations that is trying to get God out of all state and federal institutions. I don't know about you but I think he should go ahead and give up his ministry because he will be judged as all of us will be by our deeds that we have done for the glory of God or against God. All I can do for someone like that is pray for them. If his name isn't in the book of life he can call himself a minister all he wants it won't get him into heaven. Oh well it's bed time now so I'm going to go away. May God and Peace be with you all.

Late Day

Good evening folks. Wow what a day, I'm so tired I could just lay down on the floor and go sound asleep. I got so busy this morning that I didn't have any time to post anything. I guess God is keeping me busy so I won't think to much about getting babtized again in a few days. I have so many things going at work that sometimes I don't know where I will be able to find the time to get it all done. I have to admit that I have a tendency to get stressed out or should I say STRESSED OUT!!! My wife tells me to let it go because it's not worth killing myself over. Ok one small rant... I am under paid, over worked and not really appreciated at my job! I take care of the radio communication's system for 9 counties at an unnamed government agency ALL BY MYSELF!!!
Ok now that I have that out of my system I can relax now.....did I say relax uuhh what's that?
Ok Ok let's switch the subject....All those who like ICE CREAM Raise your Hands!!! <raises> me me me

Ok so I'm having strange thoughts....Wait Ice Cream isn't a strange thought it's one of the greatest food inventions ever created next to pizza : )

I think I'm starting to suffer brain damage. I started a new project the other day I am trying to get Ubuntu Linux to work on one of my computer's. This task may be easy for some but it is starting to drive my nutz. I have never dealt with Linux in any form so it is all new to me. I am trying get as far away from Bill Gates and his evil empire as I can, if possible. I have no idea how to install programs, video codecs and other needed things and how it all works is beyond me at the moment. I am finding out that hardly no one makes things for Linux what ever convinced me to do this I don't know...maybe because it was free.
I like to watch videos and movies on my computer but since I can't get a codec installed I get to watch zero movies. DivX makes no codec for Linux and the one that Xvid makes has me stumped on what the heck to do. I have NO Idea on how to install it so I just gave up for today and I came in here to jot this stuff down.

One last thing I personally think that the person responsible for trying to rip Avery Lee off for his VirtualDub program should be tarred and feathered and run out of town!!! I don't know what got into this guy but trying to extort money from people for software you don't even own MUST be illeagal even in Germany. He is a total fraud and the police in Germany should have him in front of a judge ASAP. I have been using VirtualDub for many years and a wonderful program it is. Open Source software has always been free and should always remain free. Avery has done a fantastic job and should be supported by all freedom loving people. Well I'm gone for the night. May God and Peace be with you all!</raises>

Good Morning and God is Real!

Good Morning and how is everyone today? Well I seem to have over slept this morning as it is now 6:15 am and I have to be at work at 7 aarrgghh. Oh well like they say "Life's a beach and then you die" lol. As you can tell I am really trying to stop using cuss words and I have to admit that I am getting alot better with it. Ever since I gave my life over to God I have been making a concious effort to do better with how I act in the world. I decided that I have reached a time in my life that I really needed to rededicate my life to something that is more important than self centeredness. If you really think about eternity life is but a VERY short flash in the time line of events. I firmly beleive in God, Angels and Miracles as I have had incounters with all of them during my life. I have had things happen in my life that can not be explained away as simply coincidence or chance. I have been in car wrecks where I shouldn't have walked away in example: I was driving a car in West Virginia one night with a friend and I had been driving for about 14 hours when we were coming down a mountain at 11 pm and I was doing around 70 mph when the speed limit was posted 45 mph. Well I was zipping down this mountain with a solid granite wall on the inside and a 1000 ft drop on the outside of the road. I came around a curve and I could have sworn there was a bear in the road so I tried to swerve to miss it and the right rear bumper on the car caught the inside gaurd rail and slapped me into the granite wall at 70 mph. Well it seemed like an eternity and I remember everything slowing down to me as the car was spun over and over again as we smashed into that wall. I remember and was totally concious as the windshield caved in and smashed me in the face and I was thrown sidewase into the side window and shattered it with the left side of my head and the I had my head get slammed into the steering wheel. During all this the rear of the car was ripped off and was twisted around to the driver's side of the car and the front of the car, motor included was twisted around and pushed up ontop of the roof of the car. The transmission was forced up through the floor and the drive shaft was broken and pinned my friend to the rear seat where he had been sleeping. We finally came to a stop and all I could do was sit there stunned by what had just happened. I finally looked around at the destruction around me and at that point I remembered my friend in the back seat so I quickly turned around and he was just waking up, he didn't even know what had just happened. He suddenly noticed that he was pinned to the seat by the drive shaft and he started to panic screaming what was going on and what had happened. I told him we had had a wreck and I was going to try and get us out of the car and to stop panicing. Well it took me several minutes to get the driver's door kicked open but I finally managed to get us out of the car. We just stood there in the road looking at the damage to the car totally stunned by what we saw. My friend had a small scrape where the drive shaft had hit him as it was driven through the back of the rear seat. He looked me over and I didn't have one cut or bruise anywhere on me. I had not a mark on me after everything that had just happened to me. Now tell me there isn't a God!!! Well I have to go to work now so may God and Peace be with you all!

Early Morning

OK so it's early morning and I'm trying to get myself together...5am comes too darn early for my tastes. I will try to get my thoughts together and put something down that sounds half way intelligent anyway. OK wait I got it how about a quote from some really old important person...hmmm

"Each State, in ratifying the Constitution, is considered as a sovereign body, independent of all others, and only to be bound by its own voluntary act. In this relation, then, the new Constitution will, if established, be a FEDERAL, and not a NATIONAL constitution." --James Madison, Federalist No. 39, January 1788

That I believe is from the Federalist Papers that helped shape America in it's early days.To bad the guys running things now don't bother to read any of those things. With ever oppressing laws being pushed on the American people by the so called elected officials it is becoming all to obvious to those with half a brain that "Freedom in America" is soon to be a thing of the past.
While our politicians rant and rave about dictators around the world and how evil they are and how restrictive they are to their citizens, they are constantly passing laws that are doing the very same thing to this country in the name of the so called "War on Terror".In fact if people really read the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act what I just wrote could get me detained and questioned for criticizing our government. I read alot of this law and me and my wife got so depressed that we had to go and lay down to get over the emotional stress. It states that any person or group that vocally or publicly opposes the president or government's policy on things, can and will be tagged as "domestic terrorists".This includes political groups, environmental groups, social and civil rights groups and any others that take a stand against the president's decisions.I would suggest that anyone that doesn't beleive what I say is true should read the act themselves. There are many other things that the president has done that it boggles the mind of the freedom loving American.I will cover this subject more in the future but I have run out of time and I have to leave for work.I do ask one thing of people no matter if you are republican or democrat or independant it doesn't matter what political group you are with don't blindly beleive everything you are told. The german people did that for a short guy with a funny mustache once and see where that got them.Do yourselves a favor and research these laws that the government propose to pass yourself because the only good opinion on anything is a well informed opinion not a bigoted or closed minded opinion based soley political lines.Read, study, search do not go blindly into submission. America is a wonderful country and is worth the effort for everybody that lives here to be watchful of our government and to not let them turn this beautiful land into a dictatorship.Remember those famous words spoken so long ago by a radical freedom loving American - "Give me Liberty or Give me Death". Are you ready to give up your Freedom and Liberty just because the government tells you that you will be safer? That's all I have to say this morning may God and Peace be with you.

A Poem from '76

The Walls are Dark, Dank and Abused
But Oh Well,
Time Rolls on

The Light is Dim, The Window Small and Barred
But Oh Well,
Time Rolls on

I sit here for an Eternity, Alone and Forgotten
But Oh Well,
Time Rolls on

I often wonder if this is Prison or just pure Hell
But Oh Well,
Time Rolls on

The Darkness closes in and I can barely Breath
But Oh Well,
Time Rolls on

A Lifetime comes and goes without the presence of God
But Oh Well,
Time Rolls on

So now an eternity of greater pain and suffering is my fate
But Oh Well,
Time Rolls on

By M R Johnson (C)1976

Getting Started Basic Beliefs and Idea's

Hey Hey Hey and how is everybody doing out there in the Universe? Great I hope. I started this Blog so I would have a place to write out some idea's and vent some frustrations about some things. I may occasionally have a good thought or I may rant and rave who knows what will happen here. I hope that like minded people will drop in and post some counter thoughts about what I have placed on these pages. I have a few idea's about what I would like to see posted here. I may cover the spectrum from God to Politics and may heaven have mercy on me for putting those two words together in the same sentence. I personally believe that God doesn't approve of politics or polititians especially those that use God to further their political goals. God has only one political objective and that is to save as many of us poor sinners as will let him through Christ Jesus and if that offends you I have only one thing to say and that's I HATE IT FOR YOU!!!
I look at believing in God like this - I would rather go through life believing in God and dying and finding out that I'm wrong, than going through life not believing in God and dying and then finding out I'm wrong. I would really hate to have to stand in front of God and tell him I'm so sorry that I didn't believe in him and would he please not send me to hell because I was to dumb to see the light. I personally believe that God exists because of things that happened in my life that just can't be explained away as simple accidents. Any parent that has ever witnessed the birth of their child and can stand there and say that their child was the result of a cosmic accident or that the breath of life was put into that child was because we evolved from some lower form of life needs to really look closer and see that that child is a pure miracle of God.
Well I'm going to stop at that for the moment and let people ponder on that idea. May peace be with you all.
